The assessment brings together parent/carer information, school information where relevant, direct observation, clinical interview, and multidisciplinary review.

Child ADHD Screening

Screening involves an initial call with you and completion of screening questionnaires. For children and young people, an additional screening questionnaire is sent for school to complete where possible.

The screening considers whether full ADHD assessment is recommended, as well as alternative or additional explanations such as autism or intellectual/learning disability.

The outcome is discussed with you and provided in writing. No full report is included at this stage.

The report is neuroaffirmative, focusing on strengths as well as areas of need and support, and is typically provided within 4 weeks of the feedback appointment.
